This product is fully produced in Berlin, Germany including FSC certified wood, organic oil finish, screws and even tools also made in Germany. Please note that the Union Chair is a handmade object and therefore may show some varieties of form and color. Further the custom oil finish may lose intensity under friction. Over time and after each new assembly the chair will get truly yours. Connections will get visible and leave gentle marks on the slats.

Hauke Odendahl is a conceptual designer based in Berlin. He is passionate about the impact design has on societal matters and viceversa. After also studying at Design Academy Eindhoven, he graduated from Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle, Germany. His work is included in the permanent collection of Vitra Design Museum.
